Ishraq prayer
The time for Ishraq prayer begins ten to twenty minutes
after dawn and consists of two Raka'ahs. Praying Ishraq is considered a greater
reward performance than performing minor jihad according to some traditions Cheap Umrah Deals UK.
"According to most scholars of hadith and fiqh, the Duha prayer, the
Al-Ishraq prayer, and the Al-Awwabin prayer are all the names of the same salah
(the ritual prayer). without a fixed number of raka'ahs, and its due time
starts a little after sunrise (approximately fifteen minutes after sunrise) and
extends until the time of the sun's decline from the meridian.
A minority of scholars [who?], However, have made a
distinction between Al-Ishraq Prayer and Duha. According to them, Al-Ishraq
prayer is done after the sun rises (about fifteen minutes later), while the
Duha prayer is done much later.
There is no doubt that the first point of view is more
authentic and more in keeping with the detailed study of the hadiths in this
sense. Anyway, you should never make an issue of this controversy, since, after
all, it is an optional sentence. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim has cited various opinions
about the importance of this prayer. Some say [what?] That their importance
should not be overstated, and therefore, they only do so sparingly and not
consistently, while others insist that it must be done constantly. In other
words, there is nothing in the sources to make it obligatory or even comparable
to the Witr prayer in importance.
The Prophet Muhammad would have said: "The one who
performs Fajr Salat with Jamaat and remains seated in the same place while
participation in the dhikr until after dawn and, subsequently, performs two
Rakaats Nafil Salat, (Ishraq), will get the thawaab of a Hajj and Umrah one.
(Tirmidhi) In another hadith, the Prophet Muhammad would have said that God says,
"O son of Adam, perform 4 Rakaats de Salat (Ishraq) in the first part of
the day. That I will help you in fulfilling all your responsibilities for the
rest of the day "(Mishkat).
Regarding the precise intention that is formulated when
praying the sentence Duha or Al-Ishraq, or others, there is no fixed rule to
follow. Since it is an optional prayer, it is enough to say in the mind that
one is praying nafl or sunna of Duha or Ishraq. You can perform any number of
raka 'ahs from a minimum of two raka' ahs to preferably eight raka 'ahs.
